The Custom Design Process

Every custom scarf begins with conversation. We want to understand your vision, your story, your inspiration—so we can translate it into a design that feels authentically yours.

Step 1: Inspiration & Discovery
You share what moves you — a photograph, a palette, a feeling you want to carry. Through a guided questionnaire, your vision begins to take form. Within five days, we begin our dialogue, refining the details that will make this piece unmistakably yours.
Step 2: Design & Creation
Once your deposit is received, the design process unfolds over ten days. Every element — from color composition to pattern rhythm — is considered with care. You'll receive a detailed mockup for review, with space for two rounds of refinement. Your approval guides each decision.
Step 3: Finishing & Presentation
After final approval, your design enters production — a six-day process overseen by artisans who understand the language of silk. It arrives wrapped with intention, ready to be worn or offered as an heirloom.

Deposit

A flat $80 non-refundable deposit is required to enter the design phase, regardless of size or quantity commissioned. This secures your place and covers the artisan time invested in bringing your vision to life. The remaining balance is due upon final design approval, before production begins.

The complete custom process typically takes 6–8 weeks. Timeline varies based on your response time during collaboration and approval phases, as well as your selected shipping option. During holiday seasons, please expect longer timelines due to increased demand.

What Information Do I Need to Provide in the Questionnaire?

You'll share: your name, email, whether the scarf is for yourself, a gift, or a special event; your vision (descriptions, photos, mood boards, color themes); event details if applicable; quantity; and your ideal completion date.

Can I Order Multiple Custom Scarves with the Same Design?

Absolutely. We're honored when you share your custom design with friends and family. As a bonus, pricing decreases with larger quantities.

Is the Deposit Refundable?

No, the $80 deposit is non-refundable.
